House with additional ranges, now forming 3 dwellings. Late C15 house with probable C17 additions and mid C19 remodelling. Timber-framed, rendered. Plain tiles, red brick stacks. Original house had open hall range with jettied cross wing to left and service wing to right.

Off Straight Road, towards East end
A farmhouse, formerly a hall house of the C15 or C16, converted into a lobby-entrance house in the C17 with minor C19 and C20 alterations.

War memorial. 1921. By FC Eden. Clipsham ashlar. In the form of a wayside cross on an octagonal shaft with carved foliage band at the top.

Grade 2 star listed timber framed house dating from the early 1400s. With many original features including carved and fluted beams and medieval wall paintings.
The main part of the house is a former open hall and the other side was constructed about 400 years ago using the timbers from an old bakery which had originally been located elsewhere in the village. Also, there was originally an additional wing to the house, but this was dismantled and then rebuilt as Chaplins Cottage many years ago.

Timber framed - thought to have originated as an Inn during the wool trade circa 1402 - 1408.
Current house structure from early C16. Kennels and dove cot added circa 1700 and modern extensions followed.
